Elie Maroun is a current Sports & Fitness Manager in the tactical field. Prior to his current occupation, Elie was the lead Strength and Conditioning Coach for Acadia University's Basketball, Volleyball, Cross Country and Swimming teams. He also owned a boxing gym where he was the lead performance coach for international, national and amateur level boxers. Elie graduated with a Bachelor's of Kinesiology and quickly became a certified exercise physiologist (CSEP-CEP) and a strength and conditioning specialist (NSCA-CSCS). He has recently obtained his tactical training specialization (NSCA-TSAC).
Paul Dupont has worked in the security industry both in the private and the public sector for over 10 years. After graduating in Security Management from college “La Cité” in Ottawa, his career started in the private sector as a security officer in events and bars. He then pursued a career in a mental health and addiction facility where he became a manager of security. He was offered a position as a physical security officer and he is now a Physical Security Analyst in the public sector. Paul has always been a sport enthusiast - including baseball, soccer, football, hockey and basketball. He has played from a young age and continues to practice most of them. He is also an avid runner, cyclist and competes triathlons, obstacle courses, trail runs and anywhere that he can be challenged.
Tommy Daniels is currently working in the tactical field as a Fitness Instructor, where he is responsible for coaching military personnel. He was previously the Assistant Strength Coach at St.Mary's University, where he worked primarily with Men’s Football, Men’s Basketball, and Women’s Soccer. Tommy is a graduate of Acadia University where he completed a Bachelor of Kinesiology. During his time at Acadia, Tommy was a member of the Exercise Science and Training Practicum, which provided him with a wealth of knowledge and experience working with elite level athletes. At the end of his time at Acadia, Tommy successfully became a Certified Exercise Physiologist through the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology (CSEP-CEP). He is currently working towards his Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification through the NSCA.
Karly Stefko works as a Clincal Exercise Physiologist (CSEP-CEP) through Acadia University where she is responsible for running and coordinating exercise sessions within the community. Karly is a graduate of Acadia University with a Bachelor of Kinesiology with Honours. During her time at Acadia, she was also involved in the Exercise Science and Training Practicum. Through this program, she gained experience working with healthy individuals and those with chronic conditions such as depression, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, spina bifida, autism, and more. Through her work and volunteer experiences she has been in many coordinating, organizing, and communicative roles, which she thrives in. Karly believes in living a healthy active lifestyle and has a passion for empowering women and helping others through promoting a healthy active lifestyle.
Mackenzie has recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in police studies and a minor psychology. She is currently in the process of applying with the RCMP in NFLD. Mackenzie documents her journey on her social media account (@makingamountie) and runs the OTP social media pages.
